Snakes are vitally significant and worshiped in Hindu culture for ages. Eventually, in Hindu sacred texts and epics, there is a lot of stories and activities mentioned on snakes, especially Nagas and cobras. Snakes are highly pious creatures in India, and God and the goddess of snakes hold a very prestigious position among deities.

Among the 14 Lokas, there is a separate Loka presents in Patal (Hell) for snakes and serpents ruled by Vasuki. Besides, in Mahabharat, there is a reference to the Naga kingdom situated in the Khandava forest, which was destroyed by Krishna and Arjun.

In Hindu mythology, 9 nagas are worshipped together by devotees, called “Navnags”Anant, Vasuki, Shesh, Padmanabh, Kambal, Shankhapal, Dhrutrashtra, Takshak, and Kalia. It is said that by chanting Navnag mantra, you can abolish any negative effects like black magic, curses, Rahu-Ketu-Naga-Kalnaga Doshas (bad influence).

Eventually, any pregnant lady can chant this Navnag mantra to protect her fetus in the womb and to deliver a healthy baby safely.

Chant Navnag mantra on Purnima (full moon), Amavasya (new moon), Nag Panchami festival, and each Tuesdays. To get protected from evil powers, pray to Navnags daily in the morning. Chant Navnag Stotra to get a positive result and attain spiritual powers.
