Keep Fast On Maha Ashtami Day & Receive Your Good-fortune Back

Masik Durgashtami or Maas Durgashtami is an auspicious festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. Etymologically, the festival is named Mashik Durgashtami as it falls each month on Ashtami Tithi or the eighth day of Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the Moon). In March 2021, the festival occurred on the 3rd of March.

On the Masik Durgashtami festival, devotees worship Goddess Durga with entire devotion. They observe rigorous fast, known as Masik Durgashtami Vrat.

In India, people consider Devi (goddess) Durga as the feminine epitome of strength. She represents power. The adherents of Durga believe that if they praise her and keep Masik Durgashtami Vrat with complete devotion, the goddess will shower her blessing over them. They will acquire happiness and good fortune in their lives.

Apart from this Masik Durgashtami festival, the most significant one is Maha Ashtami that falls during the biggest Durga Puja festival. The celebration happens in the month of Ashwin each year, also known as Ashwin Durga Ashtami or Shardiya Navratri.

You can keep a fast on Maha Ashtami day to receive Maa Durga’s blessings for life. As a result, you’ll get your good fortune back.
