Balance Your Tridosha To Live A Disease-free Wholesome Life

“The Three-Dosha Theory” or Tridosha are the 3-bodily energies that influence our physical, mental, emotional health, and behavior. These Tridoshas are Vata doshas, Pitta Dosha, and Kapha Dosha

Ayurveda scriptures explain the effects in the body caused by the quality and quantity of these 3-elements according to seasons, diet, day time, and several other factors. Ayurvedic medicine describes these 3-bodily substances as Vata: Wind, Pitta: Bile, Kapha: Phlegm.

Vata: Vata properties are Wind (Hindi: Bayu), Light, Dry, Cold, Minute, Movement. Vata Dosha creates several diseases like gout, flatulence, rheumatism, constipation, groin, cardiac region, menstrual pain, stiffness in the waist, mood swings, anxiety, etc.

Pitta: Pitta is associated with Fire, heat, moistness, sharpness, liquidity, and sourness, symbolizes metabolism. Unbalanced Pitta will cause body heat or burning sensation in the body and redness. It too influences emotional states like anger, irritation, food-cravings also caused acne, diarrhea, headache, heavy sweating, thirst, swollen breast, etc.

Kapha: The components of Kapha are earth and water, the healthful elements of the body. It is characterized by density, coldness, kindness, softness, drowsiness, lubrication, and the vector of nutrients. Kapha imbalance increases sleep, lethargy, pale, depression, yeast infection, heavy periods, emotional eating, etc.

The Tridosha Ayurveda treatment is simply Yoga and Tridosha diet consumption for Tridosha balance, which aims to restore and transmute energies of the psyche.

Counterparts of the Tridosha:

Prana:

Air– The life force and healing energy of Vata.

Tejas:

Fire– The inner radiance and healing energy of Pitta.

Ojas:

Water–  The ultimate reserved body energy derived from Kapha.

Prana, Tejas, and Ojas promote health, well-being, strength, and creativity, reduce undesired disease, provide you positive health, body, and mind, plus develop spirituality.

Prana opens up a spiritual path via Yoga, provides enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability. Similarly, Tejas provide courage, fearlessness, and insight, enable one to make self-decisions. Ojas, too, provide peace, uplift confidence, patience, ensure physical and psychological endurance.
