Worship Your Instruments On Bali Pratipada & Share Joy Around

Bali Pratipada is a unique celebration observed on the fourth day of Diwali, which is also known as Bali Puja. This occasion marks the major victory of Lord Vishnu’s Vamana avatar or Dwarf avatar over demon king Bali.

During that time, Vishnu blessed Bali will be worshipped in India during Diwali or Deepavali. However, in Gujarat ( East Indian region), this celebration is known as Bestu Varas, and people celebrate this day at the beginning of New Vikram Samvat Year.

Besides, in Northern India, this day is celebrated by people in honor of Lord Krishna in the name of Goverdhan Puja (prayer). On Bali Pratipada, people generally worship their instruments, tools, machinery, and arms, following traditional rituals. They further donate alms and reverence.
