Read How You Can Rectify Your Manglik Dosha & Get Married Successfully

Manglik Dosh, also known as Mangala Dosha or Mangal Dosh, is a typical Hindu concept that is being followed by Hindu society for ages. Basically, a person born under the influence of planet Mars (Mangal) is called Manglik, and the situation is called Mangal Dosh or Mars flaw, in Hindu astrology.

Because of society, the Manglik people consider themselves as cursed. But they aren’t. And the Manglik Dosha can be corrected.

Hindus believe that if a Manglik bride gets married to a non-Manglik groom, the result will be disastrous. The groom can be dead within a short period. So, to get rid of the Mars effect, Manglik girls get married to a living (animal or trees like Peepal, Banyan) or non-living objects (clay pot, Lord Vishnu idol), known as Kumbh-Vivah.

Manglik Dosh can be rectified by following these rituals:

  1. Observe fasting on Tuesday of each month (every first Tuesday) and chant the Mangal mantra during this period.
  1. Praise Lord Hanuman on Tuesday with red flowers, and wear red clothes (red is the dominating color of Mars), and chant Hanuman Chalisa 108 times.
  1. Chant Gayatri Mantra 108 times.
  1. According to Hindu astrology, a Manglik must marry another Manglik to avoid marital issues in the future.
