Do Practice The Seven Chakras Meditation & Get Healthy Mind, Body & Health

‘Sapta Chakra’ or ‘Seven Chakras’ are the wheels of energy that placed into seven different points in our spinal section. The details of seven chakras in human body are mentioned in Hindu sacred texts as well. In Hinduism, people used to practice these chakras while meditation. All these seven chakras (circle or wheel) are connected to different organs and glands of our body.

Chakras are responsible for your mental and physical health and distribute energy to the body, which is calledQi” or Prana”. They ensure the balance between mind, body, and health and also maintain the harmonious flow of energy in the body. If anyhow they get obstructed or damaged, then our mental, physical and emotional health will be affected.

The seven chakras name are:

  1. Muladhara or Root Chakra(Location: Spine; Color- Red)
  2. Svadhishthana or Sacral Chakra (Location: Lower abdomen; Color- Orange)
  3. Manipura Chakra or Solar Plexus Chakra (Location: Stomach; Color- Yellow)
  4. Anahata or Heart Chakra (Location: Center of the chest; Color- Green)
  5. Vishuddha or Throat Chakra (Location: Throat; Color- Blue)
  6. Ajna or Third Eye Chakra or Guru Chakra (Location: Forehead, between the eyes; Color- Indigo)
  7. Sahasrara or Crown Chakra (Location: Top of the head; Color- Violet)

In Hinduism and Buddhism, people meditate and try to awake these chakras, so the spiritual and physical health can function parallelly in sync. In Kundalini Yoga, there are some techniques to manipulate the subtle energy flows throughout the chakras- like breathing exercises, visualizations, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, and mantras.
